Created by the Hop Products Australia (HPA) breeding program in 2000 and released in 2013, Vic Secret™ was considered an “insider tip” for a long time, explaining its unique name. With the same ancestry as Topaz™, Vic Secret™ is a dual-purpose hop that effuses a charming earthy quality when added early in the boil, but is best utilized late in the whirlpool or dry hopping where it’ll turn out fruity pineapple flavours instead! Vic Secret™ hops are versatile, great for everything from Pales Ales and IPAs to Stouts and Porters.

Typical Aroma Profile
This variety is characterized by many different fruit aromas such as passion fruit, pineapple, gooseberries, raspberries and strawberries. Grapefruit and bergamot add a certain freshness to the mix.
*Alpha acids are determined by conductometric titration (EBC 7.4) in Europe, by spectrophotometry (ASBC Hops-6) in the USA. Oil composition is determined by gas chromatography (ASBC Hops-17, EBC 7.12).
