From social pedagogue and civil engineer to hop grower? The Kaiser family from Rannertshofen has successfully embarked on this path: in 2014, Christof and Maria took over their parents-in-law's farm - and are now the proud owners of 20 hectares of hops. The family grows the varieties Mittelfrüh, Select and Tradition, among others. Maria's parents still actively support the farm. The open and helpful exchange with BarthHaas has been lively over the years - so that the chemistry remains right and both continue to grow together.
